What is your computer system and Firefox?

Are you doudle clicking the desktop shortcut, or clicking the taskbar icon? Is Firefox starting, but the window is not opening where you can see it?

Have you tried to open in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift Key as you click on Firefox?
