How do I fix this....I tried everything I know [which isn't a lot] and can't figure out how to reverse this.

I have Firefox 47.0 on a MacBook Pro running OSx 10.11.5. When on a website and I click on a hot link for another website or info file it will not redirect. Only a black border at the top that I have click "Allow" before it will redirect....MOST ALWAYS!!!

I suggest turning off the redirect warning. It was intended to help users with screen readers avoid confusion when the page changed, and was never intended as and rarely is useful as a security feature.

You can turn it off here:

Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options

In the left column, click Advanced. Then on the right side, make sure the "General" mini-tab is selected.

If it is checked, uncheck the box for "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"
