I don't know if I have a password for mozilla firefox. If I reset I will lose information. I dont' know what to do.

Try the Firefox Account sign-in page:
https://accounts.firefox.com/signin
Use your email address in the first box, and in the second box, you can enter asdfasdf. Then the page should tell you whether you have an account or not:
- "Unknown account." - your email address has NOT been used to set up a Firefox account. You can go ahead and create a new account either on this page or through the process for setting up Sync: Access Mozilla Services with a Firefox Account.
- "Incorrect password." - your email address HAS been used to set up a Firefox account. If you can't remember your password, you can reset it and that will clear data in the account on the server. (I've lost my Firefox Sync account information - What to do) It shouldn't affect the data you have in Firefox right now. If you aren't confident, please make a backup. This article has tips on that: Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles.
