I can't upload pictures on Firefox for Android 5.0 (Lollipop)

After the Firefox for Android version 53 update I haven't been able to upload any images to any forum that I use, nor Facebook or any other site.

For example: When I tap the "Upload picture" in Facebook, I get directed to the relevant site for the upload but no pop-up appear to chose the source of the image to be uploaded. Taping "Upload image" link on the upload site doesn't help either as nothing happends.

This same problem is persistent with all other sites that I'd like to upload pictures.

Also I don't get any error messages.

I have cleaned cache and cookies but that hasn't solved the problem. I haven't tried to uninstall and re-install Firefox.

I'm using Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and running Firefox for Android version 53.0.1 at the moment (just updated before writing this message).

I can't upload pictures to Twitter. FF 53.0.1 and the one before. Nothing happens when the camera button is clicked to upload pictures on Twitter.
