When delete emails most go to trash but some completely disappear. Why?
Emails from some senders on Yahoo lists always completely disappear (not spam), not going to trash. Where are they going?

The point of Matt's question was to determine if the e-mails that are disappearing are in IMAP folders, or just on your computer in a POP account or in Local Folders.

are the mails on local folders so they go to the trash on the local folders account and the other go to trash on the relevant yahoo account?
I d not have a yahoo account, they are various yahoo groups I subscribe to. Some groups emails disappear, others do not.
