Thunderbird keeps downloading old Gmails in IMAP

I've got Thunderbird set up with two different email accounts, including my main Gmail.

When it checks the server, it re-downloads hundreds of emails that I already have stored locally. It does not appear to be duplicating them or anything, but it downloads them again every ten minutes. This looks like the problem a lot of people have had with that corrupted POP file, but I'm using IMAP.

Does it do it with the current beta version? https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/channel/

I think I recall a bug in gmail that was fixed in the beta version.

Oh, man, I'm sorry I forgot to come back and confirm that the beta version seems to have fixed the problem.

I just wanted to wait while before I confirmed it because it had been happening almost randomly sometimes. Then, problem solved, I forgot all about it and left everyone swinging in the wind.

I haven't seen it happen again since I updated, though. Thanks!
