I exported my bookmarks to an HTML file, but when trying to import them on a new computer, I import, but they never show up, any ideas?

Which version of Firefox was that file exported from?

Export and Import using HTML format should work.

Try opening the HTML file which you exported and verify that the bookmarks are there. The formatting is very barren when viewed in a web browser, but the hyperlinks work and the folder structure will be there.

File > Open File ... and navigate to where you have that bookmarks.html file stored.
