Remove Thunderbird's profile from the computer. That is, make your own copy and delete what is on the computer.

Removing the profile will remove all your stored messages, and will remove the settings for your accounts and the stored logins needed to access those accounts.

Since you don't know what the techs will do to your computer, you should make a backup of anything valuable anyway, including your email store.
