Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
You will need to restart Firefox for this to take effect so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.,) and then perform these steps:
- Click the menu button and select Options (Windows) or Preferences (Mac, Linux).
- Select the General panel.
- Under Performance, uncheck Use recommended performance settings. Additional settings will be displayed.
- Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available.
- Close Firefox completely and then restart Firefox to see if the problem persists.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
If the problem is resolved, you should check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in these Knowledge base articles:
Thank you.
Thanks. I already have it set that way. Also have drivers updated for video card and since I can get the same video to work perfectly in Chrome I suspect Firefox or Brightcove are the problem.
Have to tried Firefox Safe Mode to see if the issue is present in there?

Public link to test?
Please do the following:
Click on the Windows icon 'Start' (bottom-left) and in the right column, bottom, click on Run. Enter in:

DxDiag /64bit

(Skip the '/64bit' part if it's Windows 32-Bit.)

...Wait until the green bar loads and disappears, then click "Save All Information".
Post back here in the Forum, just these information parts, under these three Headers:

Perhaps try the HP Site:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers
Maybe some 'other' driver may help.
Hello all I have all the latest HP drivers. It's not the computer. It's the software using Firefox. Add on and extensions are correct. Flash is correct. I sent a DxFiag file out. Anyone read it?
Is this with the HTML5 media player or is a Flash based player used? You can check this via the right-click context menu of the player area.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems
Also make sure that your security software isn't interfering.
