gmail authentication fail
Thunderbird just keeps asking for the password that I have in the clipboard and use to paste into Google to login. I deleted the old passwords, removed and added the account and no joy. There is no message about blocked attempts from Google. It worked fine yesterday. This happened after a power loss.

If you added the account with the default settings, with OAuth2 authentication, it would have failed due to a bug with Google services. This is fixed in TB 68.2.1, which should be available soon.
