Are the downloaded files still stored in the Downloads folder in the file manager on your Android device?

No. As soon as I quit they are deleted even though I have unchecked the downloads box.

Hi

I have just tried this myself.

I downloaded a .pdf of an article from Wikipedia. In the Firefox for Android Settings under Privacy, I set Firefox for Android to delete everything on exit, with the exception of Downloads.

I used the exit menu item to exit Firefox for Android and then reopened the app. The downloaded .pdf is still listed as a download and the file can still be in outside of Firefox for Android in the downloads folder on my Android device.
