Hi I have thunderbird and all seems to work ok until I hit a problem with google 2 factor authorization. If I set this on after being forced by google before I can access other parts of their service thunderbird cannot connect to the gmail mail box - the connection fails. If I set the 2FA off then it accesses the mail boxes. Is there a fix for this or do I have to initiate another email handling program for my many gmail accounts? Any advice / help appreciated. Colin

Hi Thank you - that seems to have sorted it. Never know that setting existed. Colin
