3-dot menu > History. While scrolling down the list of links to previously visited web pages the same twenty or so list items keep going by repeatedly in a perpetual loop that continues repeatedly over and over again and again.
My question is: What's up with that?

That will be where you have visited the site several times in the past.
It's not because of multiple visits because they repeat in the exact same order and this goes on indefinitely (as long as you continue to tap and drag).
Do you have an example of a website that keeps appearing like this in your history?
