I'm on android new to firefox, great app so far but its incredibly annoying when it keeps hiding the navigation bar at the bottom as well as the notification bar at the top. All other browsers i use don't need me to swipe twice to see if someone messaged me so its very disruptive to my browsing, I'd like to know how to keep the navigation bar from hiding when using firefox.

Hi

I should be able to help with this. If you open the Firefox for Android menu, select Settings and Customise, you should see the option to Scroll to hide toolbar. If you turn this off, the toolbar should remain visible.
