In the past few days Firefox has stopped showing html pages on my other partitions. Has Firefox changed the way they are doing things or is this a new bug?

The screenshot below shows a web page I regularly use that I keep snippets and brief programming notes. It and all links on all partitions except the root drive are no-longer accessible.

I have used Firefox for over 10 years and never had this happen.

Any ideas what may have happened?

From your screenshot it seems you tried to open a folder rather than a file. I am opening .html files on my /data partition without any difficulty using Firefox 100.

Thank you for your response...

FYI - you do not have to point to a file, pointing to a sub-directory should work too. At any rate, neither work :(

The links I am attempting to open have been working for years. There are no permission problems and Konqueror is able to open them.

If I try to open a folder, it opens in the file picker and the next step is to select a file.
