Missing emails from unified inbox
2 questions actually -
First: My unified email inbox is missing all emails from a period of time yesterday (9/2/22) and is still not populating properly. The emails do exist in the individual accounts (have 3) but aren't making it to the unified box. Tried troubleshooting it myself, going into troubleshoot mode, looking for error messages (none). But honestly I don't have a clue and am not sure where to look. Windooze 10 with up to date drivers, Tbird 102.2.1 (32-bit).
Second: While looking up the Tbird version to copy and paste here, I noticed it says 32 bit. I've always had 64 bit and wonder if it went to 32 bit during an automatic update. Does it matter if it's 32 bit, and if yes, how do I go back to 64 bit without losing emails?
Thanks in advance!

Lo and behold, all is nearly fixed after an auto update. The filter buttons before the update were able to toggle but had no effect, but now after the update they both toggle and WORK, so now the emails are back! Chalk it up to a bug then.
Thanks for those who responded!

- unset unified folders - exit thunderbird - in profile Mail folder, delete 'smart mailboxes' (or rename) - in profile, delete virtualfolders.dat (or rename) - restart thunderbird and set unified folders
I'll leave it to someone else to address your 32-bit question.
Same problem and tried solution and it does not change anything. Any other ideas?

David's solution worked for me. Thanks David!
Unsure what caused the need to delete the folder and file nor if I'll have to do it again.

I'm glad it worked ok. This sometimes happens on an upgrade; you're not the first to have this problem.
