Very sorry to hear that Firefox was not able to visit websites after an update. This sounds like a extreme case of something interfering with Firefox like a antivirus program or firewall. Do you have anything like that installed? Some common Antivirus programs are Avast, Avira, Norton 360, BitDefender, McAfee & Trend Micro.

Also can you tell us exactly what the error says when a website is blocked? The more details you give us, the better. It could give us a huge clue as to who or what broke everything. Causing you to misdirect your rage on us. That's a very critical piece of info you can give us to help you resolve your problem. Otherwise we're troubleshooting with you in a dark situation.

And also please don't disrespect the support staff here, we're not paid. I'm serious. We're not paid at all. We're volunteers here to help you in our free time.

We help because we want to help solve the toughest problems users run into & learn in the process what's causing these crazy, infuriating problems. We're like computer detectives. If we find really bad issues, we're able to report them to the Firefox developers (who often don't know about the problem) & get it fixed ASAP.
