I have undisplayed emails in my inbox. It shows the number of emails in my inbox, but when I open the inbox, only a fraction of the emails are displayed. I uninatalled Thunderbird, and reintalled it, but to no avail. Please advise.

Most of the folk i have seen with this complaint have missed the fact that email in sub folders are show in the unread count when the sub folders are collapsed. When they are expanded the parent count changes to only email in the parent folder.
