Would like to have message filters act on multiple inboxes. Or an easy method to copy a filter from one account to another. I have found the location of the msgFilterRules.dat files and can open them with a text editor and copy and paste lines from one to another. This is adequate, but a little cumbersome to find the the .dat files. (Yes there are ways to save the path, or using Open...recent in the text editor) I tried to build a filter on the Unified Folder Inbox but this didn't seem to work - and I'm not sure where the .dat for the Unified view is stored or if it exists.

There's no filter for the Unified folders, as Unified is a type of saved search, not a mail account. The method of copying the msgFilterRules.dat file between account subfolders of Mail, ImapMail or Local Folders is the only way to do it.
