It doesn't matter which address I type there, when I press enter, it does not go anywhere. It doesn't load or give an error, it just stays there. If I try to click an address from the dropdown box that comes under the navbar, those don't go anywhere either. It only works if I click the arrow on the navbar. Which isn't a very fast way to browse around the internet.

This can be caused by an incompatible/malfunctioning add-on. Try the procedure in the troubleshooting extensions and themes article.

Problem didn't occur when in safemode, so one by one I disabled the extension. It was AVG Safe Search that caused this.
