Want goggle search bar in new tab, but was using bing, deleted and can't get back
Up until today the search engine bar in the new tab was goggle. It became bing for some reason. I made it go away trying to get it to change back to goggle and now I can't get any search engine to reappear. What do I do to get it back?

I am not looking for how to change the search bar on the tool bars. I am looking to have a search bar come up in a new blank tab as it used to. There was one and now it is gone.
A new tab opens by default with an empty page (about:blank).
If that was different for you previously then that was added by an extension.
Do you have the Google Toolbar installed (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)?
