When i load the home page the tab comes up 'Problem loading page' and the following info is on the page-The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

   * This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
         cookies.

I have tried to alter the cookies or Add-On's status but this makes no difference. i tried uninstalling Firefox and re installing it but with the same result. Dont want to have to go back to I.E. :-(

Have you seen The page is not redirecting properly, likely causes include broken webpages and not accepting cookies. Have you got any security software or addblockers etc that may be blocking cookies ?

What are the chosen site/s selected as a homepage that cause the problem ?

Whilst trying to sort out this problem why not set a working or a blank page as the homepage see how to set the home page
