I installed Firefox 4 and it flat out is not working. What should I do?

I installed FF4 and it does not work. I can see the search window and the firefox symbol, and I can type in entries, but when I press the enter key or hit the search arrow, there is no reaction or response. The screen remains as is.

I would go to Control Panel, add/remove programs and uninstall all of it if it asks, then restart your computer and reinstall it again to see if that helps. You may have had a bad install.

That does not work, because i tried it, and it will not let you uninstall 4.0 I am stuck too! I wish I had never upgraded, I was fine before the 4.0.
