i have downloaded firefox4.but from the setup it's not getting extracted...what should i do?

Update via Help | Check For Updates. The installation is automatic if you do it this way.
Also, update these plugins:
- Adobe Reader via http://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=BUIGO
- Adobe Flash via http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
