I downloaded Firefox 5/24/11 on new computer, shows downloaded 4/14/11, and doesn't work right?

I think someone is 'messing' with my computer.

I took my new MacBook Pro into Best Buy and they 35 pass erased everything.

I opened it 5/24/11, and tried to download Firefox.

Firefox app showed it was loaded 4/14/11? (before i ever opened it up?)

I tried to redownload - but new download won't load - even when I throw old download Firefox 4 in trash?

Can you help? Please?

There is nothing wrong with the version you have, the Firefox 4.0.1 application was created on 14th April, your computer is showing that date rather than the date you downloaded Firefox.
