I run a minimum of 3 tabs all day at work, gmail, aol radio and one work related. Mulitple times daily firefox hangs (not responding). I have to wait and then it responds. Other times it simply crashes. I have many add on disabled.

Any suggestions?????

Have you tried this help article on Firefox Crashes? It could be due to one or several reasons. Sometimes it's just a matter of updating the plug-ins or it could be due to malware/spyware.

In my case, Firefox 8 is running a little slower on some web pages, especially my hotmail which I believe has to do with the Java Console not being compatible with FF8.

Hope the above article helps narrow down the issue and help solve it.
