I did upgrade tot the new update (8.0); but after that I get the message that I don't use the latest upgrade. What can I do?
I don't know what more I can tell you. I upgrade to the latest version. Next time I open firefox; I again get the message that I don not use the latest upgrade.

Is your homepage in Firefox www.google.com/firefox/ ?
This is a old default home used in Firefox before some versions ago and is no longer updated by Google. Either ignore the message or change you homepage in Tools->Options->General

Version 8.0.1 is the latest release. You are currently running this version. Are you still getting an update message?

Then you are indeed using the old Firefox Start page hosted by Google. Either change the homepage or ignore the message.
