Why does update version 9.0.1 no longer play certain video sites, specifically Netflix.ca as well as mess up tv network videos?

Once I updated to newest Firefox version 9.0.1 I am no longer able to play movies on Netflix.ca, and Canadian network sites than run full tv episode videos now have issues playing. I've never had problems running video until this new update.

I dumped 9.0.1 and reinstalled an old version of Firefox and all video issues have disappeared. Clearly you've done something in this update that has messed up video player ability.

Hi jes1906- My first recommendation would be to upgrade to Firefox 10, now that that has been released. I did some research and found this answer to another user who was having issues streaming Netflix:

We're still trying to nail down this issue but I'm pretty sure if you run Firefox in 32-bit mode, Netflix will work. To do that:

Quit Firefox. Go to the Firefox menu and select Quit.
   Open your Applications folder
Find Firefox in the Applications folder and click it once to select it. Then press command + i on your keyboard. An information window will open up.
In the Firefox information window, check the box next to Open in 32-bit mode
Close the info window and restart Firefox

Good luck!
