I was trying to open my downloads and the whole lot disappeared after I clicked 'clear list' The insructions I was following indicated that my downloads would not disappear. Can anyone help me to restore my downloads and be able to open them? Thanks
When I do into tools at the top of my home page and click on downloads the screen that opens is blank.

If you click the clear list button in the Download Manager window then you only clear all entries in that window. The files are still there on your hard drive if they were there before (Open and Open Containing folder were not grayed) and you can still access them by using Windows Explorer to browse to the Downloads folder.
