I have Mac OS 10.4.11 and had Firefox. It told me it wanted to update to newest I could use but instead erased my older version and said I can't run new one. How can I get old one back?

It downloaded and asked if I wanted to replace my current version, which I did. Then when I tried to open Firefox, it said I couldn't use this version. I guess my old version was overwritten. When I go to the Mozilla page, it doesn't say I can download anything that is compatible with my OS. Is there a way to get an older version?

Beginning with Firefox 4, Macs must have an Intel x86 processor (which you have) and OSX 10.5 or higher (which you do NOT have).

The good news is that Firefox 3.6.x still supports OSX 10.4 and Macs with the PPC Mac or Intel architecture. The bad news is that support for the Firefox 3.6.x series is likely to end in the first half of 2012.

Updating your OSX to 10.5 or newer will allow you to use Firefox 10.
