From the moment Facebook activated Timeline, Firefox has failed to display photos in Facebook albums, but Safari still does. If Facebook works on Safari but not Firefox, Facebook doesn't have the problem. Firefox does. How about straightening it out, guys? (I already have to use Safari when I print from online, because Safari both preserves the original image and adds headers & footers, but Firefox does neither.)

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:

  • Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
  • Go to the Media tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
  • Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
  • If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

Facebook may be storing images on other servers like sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net that may be hard to recognize in the image exceptions (Firefox > Preferences > Content: Load Images > Exceptions).
