Firefox 12 won't remember some visited links, but remember others
Firefox 12 won't remember some visited links, but remember others. Example: Compiled media files such as .avi or autounrar , yet other visited links for image or .jpeg files are remembered. I have double checked this by downloading a stand alone copy of Mozilla / firefox 3.6.28, which functions normally and remembers all browsing and download history. Both versions (3.6.28 & 12) are configured exactly the same. Operating system is windows XP sp 3 . Please advise on a solution. Thank You.

Give a link to the website which Firefox remembers and give the link to the website which FF doesn't remember so that I can test it my browser.
