From Android 4.0 it's possible to bind a proxy to a specific ssid. In that way every application works with the wifi using the chosen proxy. However, this doesn't happen with firefox, because it use no proxy by default and you have to set it up manually. Does the current version of firefox mobile support system proxy settings? If not, when is it supposed to be implemented? It's kinda annoying having to manually set the proxy every time :/

This should work in Firefox for Android 19 which is currently in the Aurora development channel. In about 10 weeks the code will be part of the Firefox 19 release.
