installing Firefox v.21 over v.22 fixed the problem for me. My problem is resolved for now. Roboform has released a statement indicating that it is not compatible with Firefox 22 and suggests installing an earlier version. When the new Roboform update to work with FF22 is available it will be released to users of Roboform. My problem is resolved for now - I have a workable Firefox browser with Roboform functional.

hello david, press the alt-key to bring up the firefox menu bar & go to view > toolbars and make sure that the roboform toolbar is switched on.
Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars
for other solution please see www.roboform.com/support/faq/roboform-v7#faq_firefox
RoboForm is also not appearing in the toolbar menu nor in the add-on/Plug-in menu. It is simply gone. I have tried The Roboform solution (remove and recheck and even reinstalling both RoboForm and Firefox to no avail. When will this be fixed? Or do I have to change Browsers?

misellen, I'm having same issue. Did all the steps you've mentioned. Next, I will attempt ot reinstall an OLDER version of Firefox to see if I will be able to once again use RoboForm for however long it takes for the current issue to be resolved. IF that works, I will come back to here and confirm...otherwise--if I do not first spontaneously combust from the frustration--I will use a different browser :). Have a good day!
I heeded dire warnings from Mozilla and I did NOT download older version of Firefox. Instead I downloaded CHROME and RoboForm works fine. FUNNY part is, I went back and opened Firefox 20 browser and voilla! All of a suddne RoboForm Toolbar Showed Up in the View..Toolbars drop down list where it had earlier vanished. These silly ol' 'puter programs have minds of their owns...
Since I can't even FIND an older version of Firefox, I will also try downloading Chrome. Roboform works in Opera also, but not Firefox,
I have uninstalled Roboform and re-installed, several times with no success. Have now installed Firefox v20 and the Roboform toolbar reappears immediately????
Unfortunately, that did not work for me.
Just got updated to v22. Again no Roboform toolbar, I cannot get it to reappear so have again. Also tried resetting Firefox to defaults, that did not work. Reinstalled v 20.0. Have got the toolbar straight back.
Nothing I do works. I tried going back to an earlier (working) version but it hangs up on the checking add-on compatibility box and will not go any further. I think it is ridiculous that Mozilla or Firefox or whoever is responsible for this mess does not seem interested in fixing it.
I have now come off the 'Beta' channel and told it to go to the 'Release' channel. I then downloaded the latest version and it worked for me.
Same problem by me, I installed today the new released firefox 22 and my roboform was gone ! I reinstalled the version 21, and the Roboform reappeared. It is very handy to keep the older version-installers in a map, that solve lots of problems.
A few days ago I found a "reset Firefox' button in the help section. I used it and it did reset Firefox. Roboform re-appeared but I lost several of my other add-ons that i used a lot. Some of them I have been able to replace but others are no longer available or have changed for the worse.
One problem solved only to create another!
Yes dear misellen, I know this reset button, but I do´nt use it anymore, just as you say, one problem (probably) solved and lots of other problems again. Besides this, the Roboform works perfect in Firefox 21 and disapears in firefox 22 who is released today. I installed back my firefox 21 now and then the Roboform and all the rest works great.
Firefox updated to v.22 today and the Roboform toolbar is nowhere to be seen. It is in add-ons and enabled, but not visible through toolbars or as the icon to customize toolbars. All was well with Firefox 21. There appears to be a compatibility problem between Roboform and Firefox 22. Installed version is Roboform v. 7.8.9.5. Please work with them and issue an update quickly.
Same thing happened to me. Thank God I still had Firefox v 20.0.1 in my Download folder. I re-installed that and Roboform is back. I have turned OFF the auto update feature in Firefox. apparently Firefox is not interested in working with Roboform but I will change browsers before i give up Roboform.
I have found that IE has improved a lot recently and i am starting to get used to it so if this keeps happening I will be removing Firefox from my computer. I will not keep up this struggle because Firefox won't cooperate.
It's not up to Mozilla to work with Roboform, but rather - if Roboform is going to make an add-on for Firefox, it is up to them to keep it up to date with Firefox. Otherwise the tail would be wagging the dog.
Roboform did make the adjustments and Firefox immediately knocked it out again.
Earlier today, RoboForm's Facebook page said it would be 1-2 weeks before Roboform is updated for Firefox 22. I can't understand why it is expected to take so long...

Make sure you turn off the automatic update function in Firefox or it will re-install v-22.
