The Active Component was developed to Scan the images from scanner.

It Works fine with IE,but most of the end users will use FF ,as per the Mozilla Support Forum the active X components will not work in FF.

Is there is any work around to solve this error.

if possible then how to enable the active X object on that FF browser .

I have tried installing the "ff-activex-host plugin " to enable ActiveX controls in the browser.

Still it is Not working.

Thanks Jayakumar.

As per the mention article the Firefox does not support ActiveX technology.

But there are websites which works with Firefox named "ff-activex-host plugin " for firefox.

The Sample is provided in http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/plugin.htm

I have tried the sample as mention in the above link, its is also not working.

Please let me know if you have any comments.

That is an old plugin and only worked in Firefox 1.5 and earlier versions.
This isn't possible in current Firefox versions and other browsers apart from IE.
