When I have a popup box eg a map or text the back ground is transparent so the text below shows through making it unreadable
This has only happened in the last week. Noticed it when in trip advisor and I tried to open tips box that should appear in a box above the normal screen. It opens but the text shows but because this is all that shows all the screen below is also visible.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

Thanks tried the windows setting and it did not work but the disable in Firefox worked.
