My client recently contacted me to let me know that the latest version of Firefox (25.0.1) is not playing his music. I had many people test the page (http://erickschroder.com/music/), and no one using FF25.0.1 on a Mac was able to play the music. All of us on Windows could play the music with no problem. He is seeking resolution. I can't find this as a known issue, but of course I don't yet know what the technical cause is. I don't have a Mac, so I can't test any more completely than this. What I'm told is that the audio player appears, but the music does not play when you click on a song title (as it is designed to do), nor when you click on the play button.

FYI: the system details on the right are NOT specific to the problem. I am NOT having this problem on my own system, which is what is described in the right hand column.

I don't know what the issue is, but the script behind the page has received two updates since the Jan. 1 version. Perhaps one of those resolves this issue?

Thanks for your reply. I'm a little frustrated because I don't have a Mac on which to test and so I can't see exactly what is happening. The client is not in a position to explain in any more detail than "it doesn't play when I click". Plugin creator suggests he can't fix it, so I'm in a bit of a bind. The plugin worked fine until Firefox was updated... and maybe one of these script updates will fix it. I'll try uploading the latest version and will see what happens. I'll keep you posted!

I can only make it play if I have enabled MP3 support for the built-in HTML5 media player. It doesn't seem to fallback to Flash. I'm on Linux and I do not have the sound in older Firefox versions or with media.gstreamer.enabled set to false. I'm not sure about the support on Mac for MP3 via the audio tag, assuming that it is done this way as I do not see any media player in the DOM (I see a lot of script referencing a player1 component, but can't find it in the DOM Inspector).
