When I have a file that is downloading the download arrow on the browser remains greyed out and nothing happens when I click on it.

Previously when I would download a file, the download arrow at the top of the browser window would be green and when I clicked on it it would bring up a window showing all of the current or previous downloads that I had not cleared out. Now, the arrow might turn green briefly, but then quickly goes grey, and when I try to click on it, nothing comes up. In order to see the download window, I have to go to the Firefox menu, and click on the word Downloads.

If this is specifically when downloading Yahoo mail attachments, some other users have been reporting intermittent problems with those as well.
