I view my folder pane unified, and have 10 accounts. As far as I've seen so far, - some incoming emails go into correct inbox, while others go into Drafts. - some trash is in Trash, but in Drafts as well. - emails backed up as I compose them normally go into Trash, but are now going into Drafts instead.

Where emails wrongly go into Drafts, they only go into 'collective' Drafts (not the relevant account folder under Drafts).

I don't know what I've changed in my settings that I shouldn't have done.

I'd be grateful for any help. Thank you!

Click the show folder button for the profile folder. Close Thunderbird Open the mail folder in Windows Explorer and then the smart mailboxes folder and delete it's contents Restart Thunderbird and expect some delay as the deleted files are refreshed.

Thanks for your help. The Mail folder doesn't contain a Smart Mailboxes folder.

Try the next folder up the tree: Mail. Right now you're showing us the contents of Local Folders.

Showed you contents of Local Folders in case relevant, as Mail folder only has Local Folders in it.
