Firefox not letting me restore previous session after a crash

When Firefox crashed recently, it didn't let me restore the previous session. It was odd, though. It's not like it simply opened up my homepage. At first, firefox clearly tried to load the session restore tab, but before I can click anything, it loads my home page instead. I can't click back, and the "Restore previous session" option isn't selectable. I haven't lost anything important in terms of data, my bigger concern is why I can't recover my old session after a crash at all. Any advice or insight is greatly appreciated.

Hi eddieoctane,

It is quite possible that is has become corrupt. However if you are interested in the improvements being made in the session restore feature check out the notes made in the release for 33 that came out this week http://www.ghacks.net/2014/06/27/mozilla-launches-improved-session-re...
