Everytime i press return Firefox freezes, have reset, restarted and nothing works?

I have tried resetting, reinstalling, restarting everything and nothing works. After doing the reset etc it will be fine for about a minute then goes back to normal. everytime i press enter/return it freezes or halfway through typing it will freeze

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

Then restart.
