I am using a Mac. In Thunderbird I am using the Vertical View with the Folder Pane, Message List Pane, and message pane. I would like the Message List Pane to have two-three rows for each message. I cannot find a way to have it display like that. I want it to look similar to the way Mac Mail displays the message list with the Sender and date on first row. Subject on second row and third row to show the beginning sentence of the message.

Is there a way to do this in Thunderbird or using an extension for Thunderbird? I really want to completely move everything over to Thunderbird, but I do like the Message List displayed this way.

It would look something like this:

Whoever it is From Date of message This is the Subject of the Message This message is about the message list pane.

Does anyone know a way to accomplish this?? Thank you!

Don't know why but last post broke up the example. S/B like this:

  1. Whoever it is From Date of Message
  2. This is the Subject of the Message
  3. This message is about the message list pane

Hope that helps.

Thunderbird has no capability to display the list on two lines. No there is no add-on.

Thank you, Matt. Too bad, but at least I know and can quit searching for a way to do it.
