Firefox crashes
I can't open Firefox. When I try, I get the error message, "The application had a problem and crashed. Unfortunately, the crash reporter is unable to submit a report for this crash. Details: the application did not identify itself."
The ID of the last crash report, which was sent on 5-5-15, was bp-d94f2d7c-ba7f-4b4a-8eff-137bd2150505.
Thank you for your help!

You can check if you can start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift/Options key.

The crash report is a hang in the Shockwave Flash plugin.
- Firefox 37.0.2 Crash Report [@ hang | WaitForMultipleObjectsEx | RealMsgWaitForMultipleObjectsEx | MsgWaitForMultipleObjects | F_1152915508___________________________________ ]
You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:
- check for updates for your graphics drive drivers
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration - disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
