Is it absolutely necessary to update to the latest version? I find that after updating, all my passcodes have been erased.

This is my personal home computer & I like having all my passcodes auto saved & then I don't have to remember & input them every time I access an account. When I update Mozilla, all my codes are gone. Aggravating.

iirc. that is the current version number of the Norton Toolbar for Firefox 39.0 -.113

Have you tired to enable it in the Add-ons Manager? { Ctrl + Shft + A } > Extensions
