Ever since I did the last update for Thunderbird, I've had problems moving from an email to the next email. I get a Not Responding message and then I have to wait for it to 'respond' before I can open the next email. This is so frustrating! When it used to take 10 minutes to go through my email now it takes anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour just because the program keeps freezing! I'm ready to stop using Thunderbird if this can't be fixed!

Given your using an unsupported operating system which appear to have more and more strange problems, more would not be much of a surprise. However most of the slow issues we see are anti virus program. What are you using? Have you got XP up to SP3
