I'm getting crash reports the length of a toilet roll. Can anyone pin this down ? Strong suspicion it's wretched flash again. I've downloaded/repaired Win 8.1 so many times, and checked the compatibility issues, and still can't get my beloved programs to function properly. How does one deal with Windows registry issues ?

Firefox has some plug-ins/ add'ons loaded via the program; which I am going to debug; and as Firefox checks that the updates are up-to-date; then if that is the case then who is to blame ? The snarlup came from a Shockflash update which it did, as much is updated automatically. So here we arrive at the 3rd party issue of who dunn'it.
It is also coincidental that an unrelated windows update Kb 3114717 for Word 2012 was downloaded and could be the original creator of the crash that effected other. Msoft issued that that update should be delected.
Since going to SS drive I am getting NO more crashes, and I can bang the desk; not the case with the mechanical version.
