Hi, I have a client that I set up on Thunderbird a few years ago and it's been working well for him. Recently his Thunderbird has an extra button in the formatting tool bar on the compose window. This only happens when using the Classic TB2 theme, although it never occurred previously with this theme. I have attached a screenshot for reference, it's self explanatory. I'd like to be able to remove this useless button as it only adjusts the font size but visually duplicates every other button on the tool bar and the 2nd row is a partial duplicate of the first row. The double height of the button is also an issue obviously. I have tried customising the tool bar but this won't let me remove the button.

This issue does not occur using the default theme.

Thunderbird version: 45.0 Classic TB2 Theme version: 1.3.0 Windows Version: Windows 7 Pro SP1

Also, I had to use IE to upload the screenshot, Firefox would not upload the image.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Is this a theme compatibility issue with TB45? Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks, Daniel

Despite the claim this theme works in TB 45, it hasn't been updated since 2013, and there are several reviews pointing to other incompatibilities. Until it's fixed, I suggest using another, similar theme such as xpDefault, which appears to work here in TB45/W10.
