If firefox crashes when I visit a website, then why would I ever want firefox to immediately to go back to the website that caused firefox to crash.
So I visit a website and some element of that site causes the browser to crash. So I re-open the browser and it immediately tries to reload the site that caused it to crash, which of course leads to the browser crashing... Why is that a good idea or even a feature. I've tried to look through the settings menus to find a why to turn this feature off but have been unsuccessful. I understand the idea behind this feature, you don't want people to lose their place on the internet. But that's assuming that something other than the site you are viewing caused the browser to crash. However I have never found this feature to be useful, if I need to find where I was before, I can look in my history and return to the site I was at before the browser crashed, assuming that particular site wasn't the cause of the crash. So I guess my question is if there is in fact some way to turn this feature off, that I have just missed?

I think this is what you want; Type about:config<enter> in the address bar. If a warning screen comes up, press the Be Careful button. At the top of the screen is a search bar.
Change browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash to False

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.
