Sync Sign In Failure - Hangs at sign in, never resolves
I cannot sign in. Fails both at work and at home. I have changed passwords 3 times. The confirmation emails work just fine. My cloud servers are up and functioning normally. After I enter my password and hit enter, the sign-in process never finishes. I get a progress message saying "Working..." that never goes away. See the attached screenshot.
I've disabled all the plug-ins except for LastPass, which I use for storing usernames and passwords. I've restarted my browser several times. I've rebooted both my PC at home and my PC at work.

I have same problem and i downgrade the firefox to 49.0.2 and its working again but Sync sign-in not working on firefox 50 , GUYS PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!

Firefox 50.0.1 its same i cannot signin im stick to firefox 49.0.2

Is one of your Firefox profile settings "Never Remember History" ? In order to confirm if you are affected by this bug, bug 1319904, please toggle that preference or temporarily disable syncing history on your next Firefox session.
What the HELL?! I changed my Privacy History setting from "Never Remember History" to "Remember" and now the sync Account sign-in is Working!! , and I want to know is this a bug ? Are Firefox team going to Fix this problem? Because im not comfortable to change my privacy history setting to "Remember" , please guys fix this problem. thank you
Yes that is a Bug and it is going to be fixed - hopefully soon.
Let's see, it is Jan 21, 2017 - the last post was Nov 28, 2016 - So "SOON" means more than 2 MONTHS. Not in my book.
Maybe I figured out what the "bug" is..........a lack of communication. It seems that, for some reason, when I manually signed in on my new computer instead of letting Lastpass do it, I go an email confirmation that I had to verify. After that it is good. When I went back to my desktop and tried logging in there I got the "working" message as it was trying to login. I guess what that "working" message really means is NOT that it is working to login, but rather that sync is ALREADY working on the computer. who knows.............?
