I started this account yesterday and when I clicked mail on thunderbird it has removed my mail off my iphone and to the computer and now I wish to have it back on my iphone as I can not send mail out on thunderbird so mail in no mail out and mail does not stay on the phone so replying is an issue.

Make sure that both Thunderbird and your phone are using IMAP, or if you really prefer POP, make sure Thunderbird is set to leave a copy on the server.
